What is Underfloor Heating?
Underfloor heating is a great solution for heating your home using low temperature design. Pipes are laid under you floor which are usually piped back to manifold, these pipes are then gently heated by your heat source (boiler or air source heat pump) and in turn start to gently warm your floor area and home.
Why Have Underfloor Heating?
As previously stated underfloor is a brilliant design for low temperature heating. This is massively beneficial if you are looking to heat your home via an air source heat pump as the flow temperatures can be reduced increasing efficiency. Don't be put off if you are utilising gas as a heat source however as these lower flow temperature still greatly improve efficiency of any heat source.
